Best Purple Team Cyber Security Companies in the UAE (2026)

Last verified: 4 Nov 20268 providers

Purple team cyber security is a collaborative exercise in which offensive and defensive specialists work together in real time, typically mapped to MITRE ATT&CK, to test and tune an organization's detection and response. Providers describe the work as on-site, remote or hybrid. Published lengths differ: one provider states about three weeks, another one to eight weeks, and most state none. Published outcomes include tuned detection rules, updated response playbooks and, at one provider, a retest.

This page lists eight providers that offer services in the UAE and the wider region. The order is a reasoned judgment of how persuasive each provider's public evidence is, with no scores. Read how the ranking works before you rely on it.

Detailed ranking: all eight providers

All eight providers offer services in the region. Each entry shows the purple team service, regional presence, engagement length, delivery model and evidence by criterion, with the reasoning for its position.

  1. Boutique offensive security team offering manual testing, red team operations and original research.

    Headquarters / legal entity
    Not stated
    Regional presence
Offers services to clients in the UAE and the wider region.
    Purple team service
Published, as the Cyber Exercises service
    Engagement length
    Not published
    Delivery
Run in real time with the client's SOC; a Paranoid specialist coordinates with a dedicated SOC employee of the client
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • Organisations with their own SOC that want a senior-led, real-time exercise
    • Teams that want a stage-by-stage report on what was and was not detected

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need a managed SOC or an accredited-certification route
    • Buyers who need a purple methodology with a published ATT&CK mapping and stated duration

    WHY THIS POSITION

This list puts Paranoid Security first on one judgment. It publishes a live exercise with the client's own SOC, an itemised report and improvement plan, and it works with UAE clients. It also publishes original security research, such as a monthly Patch Tuesday analysis, and says its engagements are led by a senior specialist. Other providers in this list are ahead of it on published method, ATT&CK mapping, named credentials or UAE regulatory mapping, and the matrix above shows where. What held the case back is plain. No duration is published for the exercises, no framework is named for them, and no accreditation is named. A buyer who weighs those gaps more heavily than the points above should read the order differently.

  2. Cyber security company that offers a purple teaming service alongside threat intelligence, incident response and managed XDR.

    Headquarters / legal entity
Singapore (Group-IB Global Private Limited); regional subsidiaries include Group-IB MEA FZ-LLC
    Regional presence
Offers the service in the region through regional Digital Crime Resistance Centers, including the Middle East and Africa. The launch release is datelined Dubai.
    Purple team service
Published, as a Purple Teaming service
    Engagement length
One to eight weeks, depending on the scenarios scoped and complexity
    Delivery
    Remote, on site or hybrid
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who want a stated method, a length range and ATT&CK mapping
    • Teams that want scenarios drawn from the provider's own threat intelligence

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need UAE regulatory mapping stated up front
    • Buyers who need itemised report contents before first contact

    WHY THIS POSITION

Group-IB sits second because its own service page is one of the more specific in this list. It states six steps, a length range, delivery formats and ATT&CK mapping, and it describes defenders tuning detections during the exercise. It sits below the first position on a judgment about the overall case for a UAE buyer, not on the method alone. A buyer who weights published method, ATT&CK mapping and length above everything else could reasonably put it first. What held it back is that report contents are not itemised and no credential is named.

  3. Incident response and threat intelligence team within Google Cloud that publishes Purple Team Assessment datasheets.

    Headquarters / legal entity
Part of Google Cloud; headquarters and contracting entity not stated
    Regional presence
Offers services in the region. The datasheet is a global document, so confirm UAE delivery and data-residency terms before engaging.
    Purple team service
Published, as the Purple Team Assessment and a Continuous Purple Team Assessment
    Engagement length
About three weeks in total, two weeks of testing and one week to assemble and deliver the report
    Delivery
A Mandiant incident response consultant and a red team consultant work with the client's security team at each phase. On-site or remote delivery is not stated.
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who want a published method, ATT&CK alignment and an itemised report
    • Teams that want incident response and red team consultants working together at each phase

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need UAE delivery and regulatory mapping confirmed in public sources
    • Buyers who need a named accreditation they can check with the issuer

    WHY THIS POSITION

Mandiant sits third because its datasheet is among the most specific public descriptions of a purple engagement in this list. It gives a method, ATT&CK alignment, a three-week length and an itemised report. It sits below the two providers above on a judgment about a UAE buyer. The datasheet is a global document with no UAE-specific delivery terms or regime mapping. Read the position as a prompt to confirm UAE delivery arrangements, not as a finding about delivery quality.

  4. Abu Dhabi-based cyber and physical security provider that describes itself as a G42 company.

    Headquarters / legal entity
Mohamed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, UAE (the site's Location section); the footer says CPX is a G42 company
    Regional presence
UAE-based, offering services in the region.
    Purple team service
    Published, as Purple Teaming
    Engagement length
    Not published
    Delivery
    Not published
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • UAE-based buyers who want a locally headquartered provider
    • Buyers who plan to scope the exercise in conversation and want managed detection nearby

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need a published method, length and report format before contact
    • Buyers who need named accreditations they can check

    WHY THIS POSITION

CPX sits fourth because it is the one provider in this list headquartered in Abu Dhabi that names purple teaming as a service on its own page, next to managed detection and a regulatory-assurance product. It sits below the providers above because the page says little about how the work runs. There is no method, length, ATT&CK reference or report content, and the credentials are a count without names. A UAE buyer who values local headquarters over published method could place it higher.

  5. Cyber security services company with a UAE purple team assessment page and UAE compliance audit services.

    Headquarters / legal entity
Listed locations are USA, UAE, India, Saudi Arabia, UK and Singapore, with no headquarters designated
    Regional presence
UAE listed as a location, with a Dubai phone contact. Offers services in the region.
    Purple team service
Published, as a UAE purple team assessment service
    Engagement length
Not published. Cost depends on scope, infrastructure size, environments and testing duration.
    Delivery
    Not published
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who want a retest after fixes built into the engagement
    • Buyers who also need UAE compliance audits scoped by the same provider

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need a published duration, tools list or ATT&CK mapping
    • Buyers who need a credential they can check with an issuer

    WHY THIS POSITION

Wattlecorp sits fifth because it publishes four phases that end in a retest, a clear statement of what drives cost and who takes part, and a UAE-facing services page with UAE audit services. It sits below the providers above because it states no duration, no tools and no framework mapping, and the one credential on the page is an image caption. A buyer who values a published retest and UAE audit services could weigh it more heavily than this order does.

  6. Cyber security advisory, consulting and engineering firm with offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

    Headquarters / legal entity
Offices in Dubai (Sheikh Zayed Road) and Abu Dhabi (Al Zahiya); headquarters not labelled. The site says Beyon Cyber, part of the Beyon Group, has agreed to acquire a majority stake.
    Regional presence
Offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The home page names UAE regimes among those it supports.
    Purple team service
Published by name, with no detail. Listed under both Cyber Operations (detective) and Cyber Resilience (response).
    Engagement length
    Not published
    Delivery
Not published. The Cyber Resilience page says exercises run in coordination with the Red Team to measure the client's CSOC.
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who want one provider across advisory, offensive testing and managed detection
    • Buyers who want offices in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need a published method, duration and report format
    • Buyers who need certificates they can check without asking

    WHY THIS POSITION

DTS Solution sits sixth because it combines a UAE footprint in two emirates, named UAE regimes, a full set of offensive and defensive services and a visible set of certification logos. It sits below the providers above because purple teaming is listed by name and described in a single sentence. There is no method, length, report content or framework. A buyer who mainly wants a UAE provider that also runs managed detection could rank it higher.

  7. 07 Zensec logo

Cyber security services provider with a Dubai site that lists purple teaming beside managed detection and incident response.

    Headquarters / legal entity
Not stated. The site footer links to UK, Dubai and Australia sites; no street address or legal entity is given.
    Regional presence
Offers services from Dubai and lists a UAE phone line. The home page names DESC, the UAE Cyber Security Council, TDRA, Dubai Police, the UAE Cybercrime Law and the PDPL as guidance it aligns with.
    Purple team service
Published, as Purple Teaming under its Detect services
    Engagement length
    Not published
    Delivery
Blue teams monitor, respond and refine their controls in real time while consultants facilitate collaboration between attack and defence. On-site or remote delivery is not stated.
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who want purple teaming from a provider that also runs managed detection and incident response
    • Dubai businesses that want an on-the-ground response team nearby

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need a published duration, ATT&CK mapping or report format
    • Buyers who need a named accreditation they can check with the issuer

    WHY THIS POSITION

Zensec sits seventh because it publishes a five-stage purple team method, says defenders refine their controls in real time, and sits inside a Dubai-facing portfolio of managed detection and incident response. It sits below the providers above because it states no duration, no framework, no itemised report and no named certification body, and its UAE alignment is a general statement. It sits above the provider below because that provider publishes no confirmed purple team service.

  8. The Middle East practice of Deloitte, with a cyber practice and an MoU with the UAE Cyber Security Council.

    Headquarters / legal entity
Not stated. Deloitte describes its member firms as legally separate and independent entities.
    Regional presence
Signed an MoU with the UAE Cyber Security Council on 23 Mar 2022 covering CERT guidelines, cyber training and cyber security strategy. Offers services in the region.
    Purple team service
Not confirmed for the Middle East. A purple teaming document exists on a Deloitte Thailand site.
    Engagement length
    Not published
    Delivery
Not published for the Middle East
    Evidence by criterion

    SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who want a large advisory firm with a documented UAE government MoU

    LESS SUITED FOR

    • Buyers who need a published purple team method, length, report format or credential in the UAE

    WHY THIS POSITION

Deloitte Middle East sits eighth because it has a documented UAE government relationship and a broad cyber practice, and because other Deloitte member firms have published purple team material. It sits low because none of that material is from the Middle East practice. Nothing here confirms that the same service is delivered in the UAE, so the position reflects only what is publicly confirmed.

How we rank

We read each provider's own pages and rate seven criteria in words: documented, partial, stated only or not published. Every profile shows the evidence and a source for each row.

The order is a judgment of overall persuasiveness. It is not a sum of the levels, and each profile explains why this position.

There are no numeric scores because fit depends heavily on the buyer's conditions and goals, and a number precise enough to rank would imply more precision than public evidence supports.

How to choose a provider

Five criteria to check

  1. A confirmed purple team service, not red team and blue team services listed side by side.
  2. A published method and a stated length range.
  3. Named report contents.
  4. UAE delivery: office, staff location and the regime you are assessed against.
  5. Credentials you can verify with the issuer.

RFP questions

  • Which of your staff run the attack side, and who coordinates with our SOC?
  • How are scenarios chosen, and which ATT&CK techniques will be covered?
  • What does the report contain, and is a retest included?
  • Where will the work be delivered from, and where is our data held?

Red flags

  • No description of how defenders take part.
  • Certifications claimed with no issuer named.
  • A fixed price quoted before scoping.

The full checklist is in how to choose a purple team provider in the UAE. Cost drivers are in purple team assessment cost, duration and scoping.

Frequently asked questions

Is a purple team a permanent team or an exercise?

In most provider descriptions it is an exercise or a way of working, not a third standing team. Offensive and defensive specialists work on the same scenario at the same time and share results as they go. A continuous variant exists at one provider, with coaching sessions at scheduled intervals.

Do we need detection tooling before a purple team exercise?

You need some telemetry to tune, such as endpoint, network or log data feeding a SIEM or an EDR. The exercise shows where that telemetry is missing. A provider will ask what you run today, so start with an inventory of your log sources and alert rules.

Who takes part from the client side?

One provider lists security leadership, SOC teams, incident response teams, IT administrators and business stakeholders. Another pairs its specialist with a dedicated SOC employee of the client. Plan for at least one analyst who can change detection rules during the exercise.

How should we prepare?

Identify critical assets, define the objectives, agree rules of engagement and controlled access, and coordinate your internal teams. Decide in advance who may change detections during the exercise and who signs off the report.
