Purple team service
[ NOT CONFIRMED ]
Deloitte Middle East does not publish a purple team service.
What is documented. On 23 Mar 2022, during the GISEC event, Deloitte Middle East signed an MoU with the UAE Cyber Security Council. The scope includes CERT guidelines, cyber security training, cyber security strategy and a child online protection framework. The signatory for Deloitte was its Cyber Leader.
Other member firms. Deloitte member firms elsewhere publish purple team material. A document on Deloitte Thailand’s site describes two models, and a Deloitte Denmark page describes a purple team exercise. Neither is evidence of a UAE offering.
Evidence by criterion
Seven criteria, each rated in words. What the levels mean. A level describes what is published, not a finding that a capability is missing.
No purple team method is published by the Middle East practice. A document on Deloitte Thailand's site describes two models, and is not UAE evidence. Source
The Middle East site lists cyber offerings including Cyber Defense and Resilience, Cyber Operate, Cyber Strategy and Transformation, Digital Trust and Privacy, and Enterprise Security. Source
The MoU with the UAE Cyber Security Council is documented. No UAE regime mapping for purple teaming is published. Source
No report contents are described for the Middle East. Source
No ATT&CK reference or intelligence method is given for the Middle East. Source
No accreditation or certification is named. Source
No joint exercise with defenders is described for the Middle East. Source
Why this position
Deloitte Middle East sits eighth because it has a documented UAE government relationship and a broad cyber practice, and because other Deloitte member firms have published purple team material. It sits low because none of that material is from the Middle East practice. Nothing here confirms that the same service is delivered in the UAE, so the position reflects only what is publicly confirmed.
The order is a reasoned judgment, not a sum of the levels. See how the order is decided.

Limits of public evidence
- A purple team service is not confirmed for the Middle East.
- The Deloitte Thailand document describes executive workshops and hands-on workshops where the client's SOC acts as the blue team with Deloitte support. It is another member firm's material and is not presented as UAE evidence.
- The Middle East page does not say whether the Middle East entity is a member firm.
